organise a local community screening
Our Warrior - The Story of Robbie Thorpe is now available for community screenings in Victoria.
You can bring this story of resistance to your local cinema, OR screen it at your own event.
You can either book a night at a local cinema and sell tickets to cover the cinema costs. Or set up a screen and projector and show it at whatever venue suits. You can show it at libraries, galleries, lecture theatres, class rooms, outdoor cinemas, or loungerooms.
You organise a venue and take care of logistics. You can sell tickets, and use your event as a local fundraiser for First Peoples’, decolonisation, Indigenous rights related cause of your choice.
We can provide:
1) a high-resolution screener, or a Digital Cinema Package (DCP) for cinema screenings
2) photos and images to use to promote the screening
3) help with promotion on this website and the Our Warrior social media.
We may be able to help organise a panel discussion or speakers of people involved in the film. This depends upon availability and distance etc.
We ask for a small screening fee ($50-$400) depending upon the size of your screening.
If you’d like to know more about these options, fill out the form below and we’ll help you work out the details.
